Hallee James Manning

Hallee was born with a rare genetic disorder called campomelic dysplasia. This disorder affects the development of the skeleton, reproductive system, and many other organs. For our sweet Hallee, her chest cavity was affected causing her to have extreme respiratory problems leading to intubation at birth. Hallee had a poor prognosis. Our goal was to love on Hallee as much as we possibly could. We were blessed to love on our baby girl for two days before she went home with Jesus. 

The nursing staff and doctors were nothing short of amazing, caring for our sweet Hallee and making sure our family had everything we needed. We were introduced to Mamies Poppy Plates after Hallee passed away. The nurse walked us through the process on how to create  a remembrance plate. She took Hallee’s foot prints for us, and my husband and I picked the colors and wording we wanted the plate to say. We sent the information in via mail and received our plate a few weeks later. The plate was so beautiful, just like our Hallee was. It brought a sense of joy during my grieving days. It was in that moment that I knew I wanted to continue to help other families during their grieving time. I decided that I wanted to adopt Carle Health Methodist in Peoria. After a few meetings, my husband and I were able to make the donation to bring grieving families some joy and carry on Hallee’s name. On the back of the plate, in memory of Hallee James Manning will be painted. 

Tim would be so proud of this campaign, and where it is headed. We need everyone’s help! We would love to continue Hallee’s name and spread Mamies Plates to Carle Health Bloomington and Champaign and continue to fund Peoria. We would be so honored if you could help us by donation.
